Great news there are lots of changes and improvements on both the railway modelers insurance and the cover for your exhibitions and events. Insurers have listened to the feedback we have received from you and the rates and cover have now been revamped!

A few of the changes for the better are listed below:

Railway modellers policy

This has now been extended to cover all motorised collections not just trains. You no longer need to differentaite between rolling stock and layout. The policy cover has been simplified and improved-more details to follow.

Railway Exhibitions and Events

Both we and insurers agreed that this was too complicated to sell and most of all the premiums were uncompetitive! Rates have been greatly reduced. The application form is being simplified. The cover has been extended and improved.

So if you are a club insured with us YOUR rates will now be discounted even lower than those clubs not currently on our books! We know we got it wrong before but hopefully you will call us for a quote for your next exhibition or series of club events

We are pleased to advise that the minimum premium on our railway modellers policy has now been reduced to £50.00 including insurance premium tax for the larger personal collections.

Small individual private collections up to £2500 can still be covered for the minimal cost of £36.75-dont rely on your home insurance for this cover as usually unless you have identified your collection it will not be covered under a standard home contents contract!

We are also now conducting a complete review of the current policy and most especially the exhibition and events covers-We hope to be able to relaunch the Railway Events and exhibitions covers in March on a whole new basis which will make it easier for event organisers to arrange the cover they require at a reasonable cost.

We appreciate that we may heave been out of the market on these types of covers for the last 18 months but having done our research we are sure you will appreciate the end product?Watch this space...
