Insurance today is largely divided between two categories "Personal Lines" and "Commercial"-although some policies cover both areas
What is personal lines?
Traditionally,the main core insurances in this area are:
- Motor - Private car / Commercial vehicles / Vans and lorries / Motorcycles / Driving schools / Showmans Lorries and Commercial vehicles/pick ups
- Household - home contents and buildings / Let property / "High net worth" or "Mid net worth" home & contents policies which have been specifically developed to protect customers with individual collections ie- model railways,railwayana etc and the client whose policy needs to be tailor made rather than a one size fits all with for example a bedrooms rated policy
- Miscellaneous - ie:
Travel / Boats / Pets / Liability / Model
railway collectors and traders
