The most common covers available are:

• All risks cover for the rolling stock and layouts both in the Home and on a UK basis now all included in one sum insured on one section
• Contents in an unattended vehicle cover - maximum limit for cover £2000
• Public liability £2,000,000 or an increased level of £5,000,000 on application
• Cover for clubs/societies/individuals
• Cover for the clubhouses and their contents
• Extended cover if your collection is being taken abroad ie to Europe
• Events -cover for liability and exhibits in your or the clubs custody and control at a show
• New cover for small collectors up to £3000 in value

Q. My collection is already covered under my Home contents cover?

A.Don't assume your home contents policy covers your collection-unless you have either specifically advised your home contents insurers of your collection or you have a specialist high net worth home contract then your collection could be uninsured and at risk-call us if you are unsure for some free advice

• Most home insurers do not extend cover for you to take your collection to club meetings
• You may also need to extend the cover to "All Risks" including accidental damage and loss.
• There may be restrictions on the maximum amount you can claim for any one item.

Q.When did you last conduct an inventory of your collection?

A.Have certain aspects of your collections appreciated in value without you taking account?
